Hof University of Applied Sciences and the Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) have been working closely together for six years now. Since the end of 2021, the two educational institutions have been linked by the so-called HELD project of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). Prof. Dr Matthias Drossel, head of the Cross Cultural Nursing Practice Master's degree programme, recently went on a four-day trip to Tunisia together with Michael Weiß-Gehring and Saif Abdellatif from Flegisto, who help international nurses to find work opportunities in Upper Franconia and are experts on the Tunisian region. Since last year, Hof University of Applied Sciences has been successfully running the short exchange program I²P² in cooperation with the DAAD. The university develops joint courses and projects with six international partner universities in Finland, Italy, Kazakhstan, Mexico and the USA.
