The International Office of Hof University of Applied Sciences invites you to a special evening about the fascinating diversity of India on Wednesday, November 26, 6 pm (Audimax in the B-building)! Visitors can expect exciting insights into traditions, music, dance and culinary specialties. Students from India will present their country and share their personal impressions of everyday life.
The event is aimed at all interested parties from Hof and the surrounding area – from company representatives, students and alumni to anyone who would like to get to know India better. Admission is free.
Program:
- 18:00, Audimax Building B: Welcome by the President of the university. Afterwards, Indian students and alumni will give exciting insights into the cultural diversity of their home country in short presentations (in German).
- From 19:00: Experience India with all your senses – enjoy Indian specialties and take part in interactive workshops. Create mandalas or traditional diyas (small oil lamps), discover the world of Indian spices or try out classic board games such as chess, mancala or ludo. The activities are accompanied by Indian students and alumni in German and English.
- From 8:30 p.m.: A rousing Bollywood dance course for beginners – learn the basics of the colorful choreographies and be inspired by the dynamics of Indian rhythms.
The event is organized and sponsored by the FIT project “International students successful in the German job market” at Hof University of Applied Sciences.
