Electrical and janitorial work, planning, maintenance and repair of the building’s technical systems, supervision of the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems, or maintenance of the green areas – since 1998, and thus for 25 years, Werner Teltscher has been helping to ensure that the buildings and the Hof campus are always in perfect condition for students, faculty and staff. Chancellor Ute Coenen thanked Werner Teltscher for his tireless efforts during a small ceremony in June and presented him with a certificate from the Free State of Bavaria to mark the anniversary.

From 1977 to 1981, Werner Teltscher trained as an electrical systems installer or electrical systems electronics technician. Following a short period of military service, he was a plant electrician at the Viessmann company in Oberkotzau from 1982 to 1998, before moving to the Building Management department at Hof University of Applied Sciences.
In addition to his work as a building technician, Werner Teltscher was a deputy member of the university’s representative body for severely disabled persons from 2017 to 2022. On 01.08.2023, Mr. Teltscher will go into well-deserved retirement.
The campuls editorial team congratulates on the service anniversary and wishes all the best for the future!
