Prof. Dr. Ulrich Entrup was appointed to the Faculty of Economics at our university in 2003. He is now celebrating 25 years of service.
Prof. Entrup first studied Catholic theology at the universities of Münster and Munich, followed by studies in business administration, also in Münster. Prof. Entrup then worked as a research assistant at the University of Frankfurt, where he successfully completed his doctorate in 1994 on the subject of “Capital Market Reactions to the Issue of Option Bonds”.
Prof. Entrup began his professional career as a financial analyst at Union Bank of Switzerland M&A, followed by employment at Degussa AG from 1996, most recently as Head of Group Accounting.
At the university, Prof. Entrup is responsible for the teaching area of accounting in international companies. During a small ceremony, President Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Jürgen Lehmann congratulated Prof. Entrup on his anniversary and thanked him for his many years of dedicated service.
