Prof. Dr. Georg Fischer accepted the call to Hof University of Applied Sciences in September 2003 and has since been responsible for the teaching area “Business Administration, Finance, Controlling and Data Processing”. Now he celebrated his 25th anniversary in public service, to which university president Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Jürgen Lehmann congratulated him warmly during a small ceremony and thanked him for his many years of commitment.
Prior to his appointment to Hof, Prof. Fischer was Head of Cost Unit Accounting/Profit Center Plant Accounting in the Accounting Department at REHAU AG + Co. From 1998 to 2003, he taught at Mittweida University of Applied Sciences as Professor of General Business Administration with a focus on accounting, cost and activity accounting/controlling.
