The study fair on the campus of Hof University of Applied Sciences (Alfons-Goppel-Platz 1, Hof) on 9 March 2024 offers pupils the unique opportunity to obtain first-hand information about possible courses of study in a varied and competent manner. The event, in which 25 universities and colleges from all over Germany are participating, will take place between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The universities of Bamberg, Bayreuth, Chemnitz, Erlangen-Nuremberg, Ilmenau, Freiberg, Passau, Weimar and Würzburg as well as the universities and colleges from Erfurt, Jena, Regensburg and the universities of Amberg-Weiden, Coburg, Hof, Landshut, Nuremberg, Schmalkalden, Weihenstephan-Triesdorf and Zwickau will be available at information stands to answer any questions you may have about studying. The German Armed Forces, the Bavarian police and the employment agency will also be presenting their range of study programmes. Short presentations will also explain degree programmes ranging from biology to teaching, design and medicine, humanities and AI, electrical engineering and nursing. Regardless of whether you need detailed information or are simply looking for new ideas and inspiration: everyone will find something to help them.
The Office for Educational Support is available to answer individual questions about student funding. And, of course, parents of future students are also welcome: Among other things, a presentation is offered for them that deals with the topic of study and career choices in general. The 14th Hof Study Fair is a joint event organised by the state school advisory service, the student recruitment department of Hof University of Applied Sciences and the careers advice service for school leavers at the Bayreuth-Hof Employment Agency.
