On Friday, July 28, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Hof University of Applied Sciences will hold its Applicants’ Day. Both prospective students who have already decided on their desired course of study at Hof University of Applied Sciences and those who are still undecided can obtain comprehensive information on this day. The team of the Central Student Advisory Service and the representatives of the faculties of computer science, engineering and economics are looking forward to welcoming the potential newcomers personally and to clarify questions.

Program of the Applicants’ Day
After registration from 09:30, where prospective students will receive a surprise from the Hof Folk Festival, which starts that day, the Applicants’ Day will first begin for all participants at 10:00 in the REHAU Audimax B 023 with a welcome by the president of the university.
Following the official welcome, the three faculties will provide information about their Bachelor’s degree programs and will be available to answer students’ questions about applications, admissions and enrollment, as well as the content and requirements of the respective degree programs of their choice.
Guided tours of the excellently equipped laboratories of the individual faculties as well as of the Hof campus complete the program. During a joint lunch, first personal contacts with lecturers or fellow students can be made and deepened. In addition, the BAföG Office will provide information on topics related to student financing, and students from the numerous student initiatives will present their commitment to everyday student life and beyond.
Workshop for the choice of studies
Those who are still unsure about their choice of studies are invited to take part in the “Competence Booster” workshop, where individual, personal strengths will be determined. Registration for the workshop takes place as part of the registration for the Applicants’ Day.
