Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ina Löbus had a reason to celebrate. The professor of engineering and industrial engineering with a specialization in production management celebrated 25 years of service. Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Jürgen Lehmann congratulated her warmly, thanked her colleague for her services with an orchid and wished her successful work in the interest of young people and their future.
In retrospect, the Jenens native can still remember her interview with the university’s founding president, Prof. Dr. Nagler: “Prof. Nagler also wanted to show me my future study. However, I did not expect to be ‘guided’ through the A-building, which was still under construction at the time, and to see only walls. In the meantime, a quarter of a century has passed, the university consists of an entire building complex, and there has been plenty of work. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Löbus remembers the introduction of the industrial engineering course and the complex establishment of the HS-Dual program for the engineering courses, for which she was jointly responsible, as particular challenges in the past. But above all, she is looking ahead
We are currently working on the introduction of the Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering Modular, which graduates have recently been able to put together using the innovative degree program generator.”
