Busy activity on the campus of the university: The first components of the new mobile building have arrived with heavy truck trailers and are already being moved into position by a crane this week. A total of 16 containers ranging in size from 6 -15 m in length will be delivered. Thereby 18 rooms and offices for 1 to 4 persons, 2 seminar rooms as well as a meeting room will be created. The occupancy has not yet been finally decided, but the first offices are expected to be ready for occupancy from 1.10 2022.

25 years of service: Congratulations to laboratory engineer Jürgen Ott
Jürgen Ott has been working in the Faculty of Computer Science since January 1, 2002, initially as a project engineer and since July 1, 2004 as a laboratory engineer. Since then, he has played a key role in supervising and designing the laboratories and is involved in cross-university events such as Girls' Day, Open Day and the Long Night of Science for the Faculty of Computer Science.

From Haute Couture to the Crime Lab: Graduate Ines Mühlmann shares her forensic textile expertise
Ines Mühlmann impressively demonstrated just how versatile a textile technology degree can be during a lecture at the Münchberg Textile Competence Center at Hof University of Applied Sciences. Invited by the Freundeskreis zur Internationalisierung des Textilkompetenzzentrums Münchberg an der Hochschule Hof e. V., the Hof University graduate inspired the audience with a lively insight into her work at the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office in Munich.

Future Day 2025: Girls’ Day and Boys’ Day at Hof University of Applied Sciences a complete success again this year
Once again this year, Hof University of Applied Sciences offered 37 girls a varied program of career guidance workshops at its campuses in Hof and Münchberg as part of Girls' Day 2025. In addition to Girls' Day, the university also held its second Boy's Day in Münchberg and Kronach on 3 April 2025. Both locations welcomed 17 boys who were able to get a taste of study programs and professions in which men are underrepresented.
