Starting November 25, 2022, students from the Textile Design program at the Münchberg Campus of Hof University of Applied Sciences invite interested parties to their exhibition Stoff. Exploring the Future at the New Museum in Nuremberg. During the exhibition, the students will present an enormous spectrum of textile design and show what will be possible in the future in terms of aesthetics, technology and fabrics, and what this field can offer in terms of sustainable solutions.
The exhibited works make clear how creative solutions can enable an innovative further development of textiles and how an interdisciplinary understanding of design can lead to future-oriented product designs and applications.
Design processes, the handling of colors, shapes, surfaces and materials, the design of textile surfaces, the application of textile technologies and computer-aided design techniques will all be on display.
Under the motto “Just for us!” there will again be a special opening event for families. On Sunday November 27, 2022, the family vernissage for children, their parents, grandparents, siblings and friends will start at 4 pm. Various creative activities are planned by the museum’s educational team. For refreshment there will be some goodies.
