Carolin Mück joined Hof University of Applied Sciences in 1996, just two years after its founding. She first completed a commercial apprenticeship before working under President Nagler and Chancellor Theune in the areas of public relations, student administration and general administration. “That was quite characteristic of the early days of our university: somehow everyone was responsible for everything and had to do everything,” said Chancellor Dagmar Pechstein in her appreciation of Carolin Mück’s career. Since 2000, the jubilarian then worked for the then department of real estate management under the direction of Rainer Baldeweg. Today, in the building management department headed by Josef Martin, she is responsible for glass and building cleaning, waste disposal, winter services and all kinds of procurement for building services. She is also responsible for keeping the records.
Ms. Mück probably knows Hof University as well as few others and has witnessed almost its entire development. Throughout this time, she has been reliability personified and an indispensable support in daily operations. In addition, she has always been a very friendly and helpful employee.
