The faculties of economics, computer science and engineering are organizing various information days at the Hof campus in the coming weeks for prospective students and those who are undecided. This will give students the opportunity to get to know the degree programs, the university’s premises, fellow students and lecturers.
Info and application day of the Faculty of Business, Foyer Building B
On Thursday, June 23, 2022, the program of the Info Day of the Faculty of Business and Economics will start at 10:00 a.m. with a welcome by Dean Prof. Dr. Jens Kirchner. From 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., prospective students can find out about the five bachelor’s degree programs in Business Administration, International Management, Economic and Organizational Sociology, Business Psychology and Business Law every half hour. At the same time, there will be a mini-fair with information about studying, but also about living in the city of Hof. Campus tours and guided tours of the digital start-up center Einstein1 round off the morning. After the lunch break, students will have the opportunity to attend “real” lectures and thus get a taste of economics at the university or to get to know the city of Hof and its advantages during a city tour. The info day ends at 4:00 p.m.

Prospective students who have applied for the winter semester 2022/2023 and have already received the acceptance, but have not yet finally accepted the study place, will additionally get the chance to convince themselves of Hof University of Applied Sciences at an Applicant Day on Saturday, July 02, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Engineering) and Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Computer Science).

Online Info Evening of the Master’s Program “International Project Management
The Master’s program “International Project Management” will hold an online info evening via Zoom on Monday, June 27, 2022 starting at 6:00 pm. Interested parties can find out about the course content, admission requirements and career opportunities and find out whether the master’s degree is right for them in a Q&A session with the head of the course.
In the master’s program “International Project Management”, students not only learn classic, hybrid and agile methods for project implementation. From the second semester on, they work on real practical projects and learn how to lead project groups. The master’s degree not only focuses on technical skills, but also deepens social skills that are necessary for responsible thinking and acting in companies. In addition to the concentrations “Technical Project Management” (M.Eng.) and “Commercial Project Management” (M.A.), there is a new, third concentration: “Environmental and Sustainability Project Management” (M.A.), which focuses on sustainability projects. Both engineering and business-oriented bachelor’s degree holders and commercial lawyers can be admitted to the “International Project Management” master’s program.
