At and in the pilot plant for textile technology and air conditioning were opened on 01.12.2022 in the presence of university president Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Jürgen Lehmann, Christof Präg, Senior Building Director at the State Building Authority Bayreuth and Christian Zuber, Mayor of the City of Münchberg, ceremoniously unveiled two works of art by Irena Engelkraut, a former student of the Bachelor of Textile Design. The art on the building can now be admired on the exterior facade of the technical center opposite the refectory and in the staircase of the technical center.

Following the unveiling of the artworks, the numerous guests had the opportunity to take part in guided tours of the Technikum as well as the spinning and weaving mill and to learn about current research on the topics of textiles, carbon and nonwovens at the Münchberg Campus. The physical well-being was also not neglected with bratwursts and mulled wine.
