On November 24, 2020, from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., the Europe Day at Hof University of Applied Sciences will take place for the fifth time under the direction of Prof. Dr. Peter Schäfer. Prof. Schäfer is the founder of the Europe Day and has been Professor of European Law at Hof University of Applied Sciences for almost 25 years.
The keynote speech by Dr. Renke Deckarm, Deputy Head and Press Spokesman of the EU Commission in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, will shed light on the German Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2020. Afterwards, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Valentin Plenk will present the ERDF projects of Hof University of Applied Sciences, followed by Robert Jodlbauer, who will present the Interreg program and its future.
Matthias Will, editor and head of the science department of the Frankenpost, could be won as moderator for the event. He will lead the panel discussion consisting of Dr. Renke Deckarm, Robert Jodlbauer, Désirée Neeb (project manager of the Interreg Europe project DIGITAL REGIONS at iisys), Prof. Dr.-Ing. Valentin Plenk and Prof. Dr. Peter Schäfer.
