Review of the 30th IT Manager Meeting Hochfranken

The Institute for Information Systems at Hof University of Applied Sciences (iisys) recently hosted the 30th edition of the IT Manager Meeting Hochfranken, which has established itself as a platform for exchange between managers in the IT sector. Together with their peers, they had the opportunity to get to know innovative approaches. Here are a few examples:

From reactive to proactive IT service – through digital employee experience

Justin Bitterlich and Simon Aigner from the SanData IT Group gave an impressive presentation on how companies can transform their IT services to create a positive digital employee experience. Their insightful presentation showed how data analysis of sensor values can be used for proactive IT services.

Digital signatures in operational practice

Patrick Knopf from kf-PLUS GmbH explained how digital signatures can be effectively integrated into companies. The practical approach and concrete examples helped participants to recognize the potential of this technology in their own organization and possibly avoid high costs.

Legal effectiveness of digital signatures, seals and Gaia-X identity services

Prof. Dr. Beatrix Weber from Hof University of Applied Sciences provided valuable insights into the legal framework surrounding digital signatures and identity services and placed this in the context of GAIA-X activities. Her presentation was particularly informative for managers seeking legal security in the digital transformation.

The participants were very satisfied with the practical presentations and the opportunities to network with each other and with the speakers. The IT managers’ meeting showed how important the exchange of these topics is for the further development of the IT sector.

A big thank you to all the speakers and participants for an inspiring evening full of new ideas and exciting discussions. We are already looking forward to the next meeting on November 13, 2025!
