Hof University of Applied Sciences and the Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) have been working closely together for six years now. Since the end of 2021, the two educational institutions have been linked by the so-called HELD project of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). Jürgen Lehmann welcomed a far-flung visitor to the university's Münchberg campus: a 14-strong delegation from the textile universities in Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan came to find out about the German education system and the study opportunities at Hof University of Applied Sciences in the field of textiles.
