Sustainability in the textile industry
Daniel Herrmann’s master’s thesis deals with sustainable waste management in the nonwovens industry, an important sector of the textile and fashion industry. In collaboration with Tenowo Hof GmbH, he analyzed optimization potential for the development of a circular waste management system. In doing so, he evaluates the production residues generated at Tenowo and analyzes the status quo in order to subsequently evaluate improvement approaches and recommendations for action. Daniel Herrmann now works as the sustainability officer for Tenowo’s German sites.
