Major generational change at Hof University of Applied Sciences
Five deserving professors have left Hof University of Applied Sciences, heralding a real generational change in its ranks: With Prof. Dr. Willi Darr, Prof. Dr. Franz Xaver Boos, Prof. Dr. Friedwart Lender as well as Prof. Dr. Ina Löbus and Prof. Dr. Günther Köhler, several decades-long pillars of teaching and research are leaving the university.

Inwa: Ukrainian-German cooperation for sustainable water use
At the end of June, Dr. Harvey Harbach, research group leader at the Institute for Sustainable Water Systems (inwa), welcomed Ukrainian researchers to the university as part of the project "Integration of the 'sponge city' concept to develop a model for the sustainable restoration and management of water resources in areas of Ukraine affected by military impacts (IKoMoWa)". The aim was to jointly explore prospects for scientific cooperation.
