Which degree program suits me? What are the differences between studying at a university of applied sciences and a university? Which fields of study does which university offer?
You haven’t found the answers to these questions yet? Then head to the Hof Study Fair.
On Saturday, 08.10.2022, Hof University of Applied Sciences, the career counseling service of the Federal Employment Agency and the school counseling service invite prospective students to the Hof Study Fair from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the campus of Hof University of Applied Sciences at Alfons-Goppel-Platz 1. More than 20 state universities of applied sciences and universities from Bavaria, Saxony and Thuringia present themselves to the pupils and introduce their offers. Thus the Hofer study fair offers to the visitors on only one day a comprehensive information and consulting offer approximately around the topic study.
Varied lecture program and information booths
From law to education, food management and automotive technology to future technologies – the selection of courses and fields of study for which those interested can enroll at the universities participating in the Hof Study Fair is huge. In more than 30 presentations, the student advisors and course directors will provide information on admission requirements, course content and career prospects. At the information booths, conversations can be intensified if necessary or individual counseling can be provided. The Studentenwerk Oberfranken (Student Union of Upper Franconia) will provide advice at its booth on the topics of housing and student grants. Parents of future students are also welcome at the fair and can, for example, find out about their offspring’s choice of study and career in a presentation by the Employment Agency.
