Hof University of Applied Sciences is Bavaria’s number 1 in the field of “Digital Studying”

Another award for Hof University of Applied Sciences: In the “Digital Readiness Ranking” published by the renowned student portal studycheck.de, Hof University of Applied Sciences once again achieved second place among all German universities and colleges. This makes the Upper Franconian university Bavaria’s number 1 in the area of “Digital Studying”.

Can students also complete their studies digitally? How easy is it to reach professors and lecturers online? And is the course material also available online? The StudyCheck Digital Readiness Ranking provides an insight into students’ satisfaction with the digitalisation of their educational institution. Hof University of Applied Sciences received 253 ratings in this category and achieved an overall score of 4.32 (out of 5). This means that Hof University of Applied Sciences also received the “We are digital” seal, which was only awarded to 36 out of over 500 German universities and colleges. First place went to the IU International University in Erfurt. At least 3.75 stars and 250 ratings in the last 365 days are required for the “Digital Studying” criterion to receive the award. The criterion was included in the portal’s evaluation in 2020.

Hof University of Applied Sciences only recently achieved first place in an overall ranking of the portal and thus secured the coveted award as “Germany’s Most Popular University 2024” for the second time and immediately the following year.
