Our students are not only very well looked after at our family university, but it is our claim to familiarize them very intensively with potential employers and their requirements during their studies. The success of this approach and the work of our teachers in this area is confirmed in the current survey. I am very pleased about this.”

About the CHE ranking

In the new comparison of master’s programs, up to eleven criteria are evaluated, depending on the subject. More than 5,000 master’s students nationwide assessed, among other things, the “general study situation”, the “teaching offer” and the “study organization”. The students’ assessment of the “scientific relevance” provides information on the extent to which the master’s program offers the opportunity to deepen scientific work and to come into contact with important and innovative research results. For the subjects mathematics and computer science at universities, facts are collected on the research funds per scientist as well as the publications per scientist and the doctorates per professor. They provide an overview of the research performance at the departments. At universities of applied sciences / HAW, a fact indicator shows how intensive the contact with professional practice is. The results of the facts and judgments are assigned to a top, middle and bottom group
