What courses are available – and which one is right for me? – If you are looking for answers to these and many other questions, the Hof Study Fair is the place to be! On Saturday, March 14, 2026, the Study Fair at Hof University of Applied Sciences will offer a wealth of information and advice for high school students and anyone interested in studying, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Twenty-two universities and colleges from Bavaria, Thuringia, and Saxony will be represented, including the universities of Bamberg, Bayreuth, Chemnitz, Erlangen-Nuremberg, Regensburg, and the Bauhaus University Weimar, as well as the universities of Hof, Coburg, Erfurt, Weihenstephan-Triesdorf, Zwickau, and other locations. The German Armed Forces, the Bavarian Police, and the Employment Agency will present their study programs; the Saxony Cooperative State University in Plauen will also be represented for the first time.
In addition to the information stands, there will be a program of short presentations. Fields of study from the natural sciences, engineering, humanities, and social sciences will be presented—from biology and electrical engineering to design and teaching to medicine, nursing, and artificial intelligence. The program is aimed at both those who are undecided and those who have specific questions.
The Office for Educational Assistance will provide advice on financing your studies. Parents are also invited; a separate presentation on choosing a course of study and career will be offered for them.
