Kick-off meeting of the Hydrogen Region Bavaria & Bohemia

The Institute for Hydrogen and Energy Technology at Hof University of Applied Sciences (iwe) invites representatives of small and medium-sized companies to the kick-off meeting of the Hydrogen Region Bavaria & Bohemia on Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. in Audimax B023 on the Hof campus. The project offers free information events, further training and networking for a faster hydrogen ramp-up in the participating regions.

The event is part of the Interreg project HyBaBo, led by the OTH Amberg-Weiden, the Hof University of Applied Sciences (iwe) and the Regional Chamber of Commerce of the Karlovy Vary region. It is free of charge and aims to inform representatives of the regional economy about current developments and opportunities in the hydrogen economy. The hydrogen region of Bavaria and Bohemia is to develop into an important regional cross-border concept for the hydrogen economy. The goal at the end of the project is a sustainable concept from the region and for our region. In addition to events in Bavaria, the project team will also offer events in the Czech Republic.

The HyBaBo project has been running since 01.04.2024 and is scheduled to run for 2 years. The project aims to facilitate knowledge transfer on the topic of hydrogen and offer workshops and training opportunities. The project is primarily aimed at small and medium-sized enterprises, but also at research and educational institutions, municipalities and associations as well as future specialists. The project is co-financed by the European Union.
