Parents who are still looking for a childcare option for their children on the school-free Day of Prayer and Repentance and want to offer their offspring a great and varied program will once again find what they are looking for at Hof University of Applied Sciences: The Original Children’s University Research Day will take place again! On 19.11.2025, children between the ages of 8 and 12 can experience a whole day of exciting workshops.

It starts again at 9.30 am in the foyer of the B building on the Hof campus. All children will go through the entire Children’s University Research Day program in 5 groups.
We have prepared the following topics for the youngsters:
- Mission cycle heroes – save the world from the garbage monster
- Shape fever – the path to your own plastic cup
- From digital model to real part – 3D printing and CNC technology
- “Swipe, tap, scroll,…” – Learning with a click, that’s how it works!
- How sheep’s wool protects our environment
The kids are invited back for a delicious slice of pizza for refreshments. The event ends at around 3.30 p.m. – then all participating children will receive their own researcher award.
Update: This year, 100 places were available, but these are now fully booked.
