With the start of the winter semester 2022/2023, lecturers Prof. Dr. Günter Hilmer, Prof. Dr. Christine Brautsch and Tina Wiegand welcomed a total of 45 students and eight companies to the digital business incubator Einstein1 as part of a practical project for the Bachelor of Business Administration (specialization “Digital Infrastructure and Internet Technologies in Practice”) and Master of Digital Business Management (specialization “Applied Research Digitization and IT Technologies”).

In the first kick-off with the partner companies and students, company representatives presented their profiles with the topics and problems in the plenum. The teams are looking forward to exciting and highly topical issues in the context of digitalization and sustainability in a wide variety of business areas, such as the development of a competence field ‘Sustainability’ for the transformation consultancy WARGITSCH Transformation Engineers. In addition, topics and issues from the areas of platform technology, data management and key figure control, digital business models, service offerings and value chains will be discussed.

After the presentation of the companies, the teams spread out in the spacious co-working space of Einstein1 to get to know their company mentors in a small group and to discuss the tasks.

A big thank you goes to all involved from the companies AUDI AG, Einstein1 Digitales Gründerzentrum GmbH, Hynovus, LAMILUX Heinrich Strunz Holding GmbH & Co KG, MIAS Maschinenbau, Industrieanlagen und Service GmbH, RAUMEDIC AG, REHAU AG, the WARGITSCH Transformation Engineers and especially to the whole Einstein1 team for offering this great opportunity and taking time for the students. Everyone involved is looking forward to an exciting semester, good collaboration, many fruitful discussions and, of course, the teams’ results, which will be presented at the Hof Campus in January 2023.
