Hof University of Applied Sciences began early on to promote the digitization of administration and teaching. It is actively supported in this by the Society of Friends and Sponsors of Hof University of Applied Sciences. For the past three years, the Society has honored particularly innovative and digitally minded teachers with the “Digitaler Aufbruch der Lehre” award.
10.000 EUR for innovative teaching
The award is endowed with 10,000 EUR for the first place winner, 5000 EUR for the second place winner and 2500 EUR for the third place winner. It is awarded by a jury of seven members from science and industry

This year, for the first time, an award was also presented to students. The winner will receive a workplace in the working space of the Einstein 1 business incubator as well as a software voucher worth 800 EUR.
Official award ceremony in summer
The official award ceremony is scheduled to take place next summer at a ceremony hosted by the university’s sponsoring society.
We would like to honor the winners after the pandemic and in the context of some beautiful and glamorous hours.
