On November 14, Hof University of Applied Sciences will open its doors for the Night of Science. From fascinating experiments and exciting lectures to interactive hands-on stations, visitors can expect a varied program for all age groups. On the university’s website, you can now put together your own personal program from all the activities on offer – according to your own interests.

Nadine Michael and Christian Sturm from Event Management at Hof University of Applied Sciences;
We asked Nadine Michael and Christian Sturm from Event Management at Hof University of Applied Sciences how to make the most of the offer.
This year, you can put together your own program online – how exactly does it work and what was the idea behind it?
“It’s very simple: register on our events page, browse through the program and mark your favorites with a star.

Step 2: A link in the email takes you to the complete program of the evening – here you can mark your personal favorites with a star..

As we have over 100 program items on offer again this year and it’s easy to lose track, we wanted to give visitors the opportunity to put together their own personal list of the most interesting items for them. By using various filters, families can, for example, find and remember all the program items especially for children. We want everyone to organize their evening in a way that suits their interests. That way, science can be experienced by everyone.”
How do you get the program displayed?
“Once you have marked your favorites with a star, you can find your own individual program with all the highlights that particularly interest you under the menu item “My ★NdW25″.”
And if you don’t have time in advance, where can you access the program on the evening itself?
“On our website at any time, of course. On the day or evening itself, however, program booklets will also be distributed and handed out directly on site to take away. Families with children in particular should make sure they have these, as they also contain our Explorer Rally.”
What is the Explorer Rally and who is it suitable for?
“As part of our Researchers’ Rally, all young visitors can discover our Night of Science in a fun way and collect stamps. There is a little surprise afterwards as a reward.”
Thank you very much!
