The Faculty of Engineering at Hof University of Applied Sciences invites prospective students and their parents to an advisory service “#IrgendwasmitTechnik” on the Hof campus on Wednesday, 19.06.2024. The information afternoon starts at 4 p.m. in the foyer of the B building. The aim is to inform pupils about the modular Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering Sciences with five fields of study and to arouse enthusiasm for studying engineering at Hof University of Applied Sciences.
The advisory service is aimed at school leavers who are graduating this year as well as their family members and friends.
Drop by, join in, get to know each other
Prospective students can look forward to a visit to the university’s MakerSpace, lab tours and hands-on stations. Short presentations by professors and students about their choices and everyday student life as an engineer round off the program. The “hot seat” format, in which lecturers answer questions from prospective students, offers a unique opportunity to get answers to all open questions. The aim is to make it easier for pupils to make their study decision and for future applicants to get to know the university. The Faculty of Engineering would also like to target female applicants with this advisory service in order to increase the proportion of female students in engineering.
We know that it is difficult for future students to decide on a specific technical degree course. That is why we have developed the modular engineering sciences course – all students start here together and make their choice later.”
