Meaningful study orientation is possible even in times of the Corona pandemic: this year, the University Information Days at Hof University of Applied Sciences will take place during the Easter vacations on March 30 and 31, 2021 and virtually. Under the motto “future studies – create your vision”, future high school graduates and graduates of technical colleges can find out which topics move them most themselves and in which area they would like to contribute their ideas in the future.
The focus of the event will be on the study programs:
- Design and Mobility (B.A.)
- Innovative Healthcare (B.Sc.)
- Innovative textiles (B.Eng)
- Communication Design (B.A.)
- Mobile Computing (B.Sc.)
- Economic and Organizational Sociology (B.A.)
During the online event, program directors, students and research assistants will give an insight into study modules, focal points, practical projects or the work in the university laboratories. In-depth questions can then be asked in the chat. The Hof University of Applied Sciences also enables interested parties to take part in some live lectures, so that they can already experience everyday study life at first hand
Students report
In a presentation under the motto “Create your own vision – Shape your future with Hof University of Applied Sciences” (March 30 and 31 at 1 p.m.), Bachelor students will talk about their experiences at and with the university. Young entrepreneur Dr. Andy Gradel and researcher Jessica Wittmann will report on the transition to a career after graduation. In addition, various student initiatives and the “MakerSpace”, the new workshop for inventors and tinkerers at Hof University of Applied Sciences, will also introduce themselves to prospective students.
Hof University of Applied Sciences also allows interested parties to take part in some live lectures, workshops and virtual campus tours, so that they can already experience everyday study life up close

All day long there is also the opportunity to get advice from the student advisory service by phone and online on the application procedure, on the study locations Hof, Kronach, Münchberg and Selb as well as on study support and exchange programs.
