The 2021 university elections were held from July 01-07 and, as reported, were conducted purely as an online election for the first time. In the end, the voter turnout was 20.75%. According to election officer Dagmar Pechstein, Chancellor of Hof University of Applied Sciences, it was thus around twice as high as in previous elections held in the presence mode
