Hof University of Applied Sciences is once again taking part in the successful InnenHofKonzert series organized by Hof’s city marketing association. What began years ago as an intimate concert series in hidden courtyards and backyards has long since developed into a popular and highly frequented after-work meeting place in the city of Hof. Hof University of Applied Sciences has also been one of the organizers several times.
This year, the concert will take place on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 7 p.m. directly at the traffic circle in front of the university. The group “Stevie & the Monstabass” will be playing, a far from ordinary cover band, as they deliberately play differently: their repertoire includes everything from witty a cappella numbers from “Ganz Schön Feist” to “Dendemann”, from Michael Jackson to Hubert von Goisern. The songs are – according to the self-description – unabashedly put through the mincer or songs find their way into the live set that the average radio listener doesn’t even have on their radar, but is then very happy about. Steven Power, Ronny Kanone and Tom Stapelmann – known as 3/4 of the band “Waste” – have undoubtedly remained creative musicians in their cover project.
Catering will take place from 6 to 10 pm. In addition to the well-known “Hofer fast food” of sausages and steaks, there will also be pizza as well as Falter wheat beer, Scherdel beer and soft drinks. As always, admission to the InnenHof concerts is free.
