On July 7, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Hof University of Applied Sciences invites you to the event “Using ChatGPT & Co. in Engineering and Architecture Firms – Insights from a Student Project” at the Einstein1 – Digital Startup Center on the Hof campus.
The event is aimed in particular at representatives of companies, engineering and architecture firms, as well as anyone interested in the potential applications of generative artificial intelligence in analysis, planning, and decision-making processes.
The focus is on practical projects by international master’s students who, in collaboration with companies, have developed innovative solutions for the use of generative AI. The projects began with real-world challenges from everyday business life, in which the potential of AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude was explored and concrete application concepts were developed.
Participants will gain insights into the results of the students’ project work and learn about innovative ideas for the practical application of generative AI in engineering and planning-related processes. In addition, the event offers an opportunity for direct exchange between academia and industry. Companies and students will share their experiences from the collaboration and discuss prospects for future partnerships.
