The community of Erkersreuth is to receive a local heating network. Under the leadership of the Institute for Hydrogen and Energy Technology at Hof University of Applied Sciences (iwe) and the planning office Fritsch Energieplanung GmbH, an initial information event on this topic will therefore be held on September 13, 2023 at 7 p.m. in the clubhouse of TuS Erkersreuth (Jahnstraße 12, 95100 Selb-Erkersreuth).

The new energy supply is to come from the Goldschald farm, which is located on site. For the time being, the planned supply area includes Böttgerstraße, Jahnstraße, Robert-Koch-Straße, Kurze Gasse and Mühlbacher Straße. Visitors to the event will be informed on site about local heating in general and the planned project in particular, can ask questions and also express initial interest in connection. In order to better assess individual possibilities, interested parties are asked to bring along their consumption data (gas, oil, wood, etc.) of the last three years.
Our goal is to find enough interested connection users to be able to start a feasibility study for the planning of the first construction phase.”
