With the unveiling of its new race car, the Apollo, the student initiative HofSpannung Motorsport e.V. reached an important milestone on June 11, 2026. At the official rollout, the team presented the vehicle that the students have been developing over the past two years.
The students have had two years full of challenges, countless hours in the workshop, technical innovations, and, above all, exceptional teamwork.
The association also used the event to thank all of its supporters. Guests, including the mayor of Hof, Stefan Schmalfuß, and University President Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Jürgen Lehmann, as well as sponsors, alumni, friends, and supporters, attended the evening and joined the team in celebrating the successful completion of the race car.
