Wednesday, April 23, 2025, is the official“Laboratory Day” – and we would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all the dedicated laboratory staff at our sites in Hof, Münchberg, Selb and Kronach!
A total of 66 laboratories at Hof University of Applied Sciences ensure that our education remains practical and that research can take place at the highest level. Whether materials testing, production engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or chemistry – not only is knowledge imparted here, but the future is also shaped.
Around 30 colleagues from the laboratory area look after our equipment, prepare experiments, support courses, help with research – and sometimes very practical things are created here that keep the university running.
The fact that this work is mostly done in the background does not make it any less valuable. You are the backbone of our practice-oriented education and research. Some of the colleagues from the Hof site are representative of all of you.
