Personal branding workshop: tell your story with impact at “Einstein1”

How do you turn your own biography into a compelling professional story? The workshop “Personal Branding – Tell your story with impact”, which will take place on January 22, 2026 at the Einstein1 digital start-up center in Hof, provides answers to this question. The workshop is aimed at students and employees of Hof University of Applied Sciences as well as participants from the GO! network.

The focus of the event is the conscious development of one’s own personal brand. Participants reflect on formative moments, personal and professional experiences as well as their own values and strengths and learn how to harmonize these with their professional vision or start-up idea.

The workshop will be led by Dr. Martin Gebhardt, who was responsible for communication and marketing at adidas until 2025 and is now building up his own business in the field of marketing and workshop concepts. With his many years of experience, Gebhardt shows how personal stories can be told clearly, authentically and effectively.

The workshop provides in-depth insights into narrative development, personal branding and modern storytelling. The theoretical input is supplemented by practical exercises on personal positioning, developing an individual personal branding narrative and formulating and presenting your own story in a structured way. A varied mix of methods consisting of impulses, group work, presentations, discussions and feedback rounds ensures a high level of practical relevance.

Participants learn to set focal points and anchor points in their story, develop a common thread and present themselves or their project or start-up idea in a convincing way. The group size is limited to 8 to 12 people to enable an intensive exchange. Five places are also available to external interested parties via Einstein1.

A special highlight is the subsequent “meet & eat”, hosted by Einstein1. In a relaxed atmosphere, participants will have the opportunity to talk to Martin Gebhardt, ask questions and make new contacts.
