Information about the wide range of courses on offer at the University of West Bohemia, company visits, a tour of the city and immersion in student life in Pilsen – students on business studies courses recently experienced all of this during a three-day excursion to Pilsen in the Czech Republic.

The visit began with a warm welcome at the University of West Bohemia, where the students learned more about the wide range of courses on offer and the international initiatives of the partner university. After lunch together and a tour of the campus, the group visited the German company Konplan, a subsidiary of Krones. This visit underlined the importance of German-Czech economic relations and gave the students an insight into the practical world of business.

The first day ended with a sociable evening of bowling, where the students had the opportunity to get to know each other better and relax at the end of the day.
Saturday was all about exploring the city of Pilsen. The students visited the historic city center, explored the historic Pilsen Underworld, a labyrinth of cellars, corridors and tunnels, and took part in a guided tour of the famous Pilsner Urquell brewery, including a traditional beer tasting. They spent the evening dining together in the famous Na Spilce brewery restaurant, gaining an insight into the lively student life of the city.
On Sunday, the group returned to Hof after breakfast together. They not only left with fond memories, but also new impulses and strengthened connections that will further promote international cooperation.
