Last week, Hof University of Applied Sciences welcomed the Dean of the Faculty of Business and Entrepreneurship of the DKU (German-Kazakh University) from Almaty, Dr. Assem Abdunurova, to the Hof campus. The core of the visit was a tour of the marketing research laboratory. She was able to look over the shoulders of Master Marketing students as they carried out an experiment using physiological methods (including recording eye movements and measuring skin resistance). She then slipped into the role of a test subject herself during a test drive on the driving simulator.
As part of a guided tour of the campus, the visitor also got to know the university and its facilities as well as the digital start-up center Einstein1.
During talks with Susanne Krause, Head of the International Office and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Anke Müller, as well as with the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. Dr. Jens Kirchner, the relations between Hof University of Applied Sciences and DKU were deepened and cooperation opportunities, for example for students of Hof University of Applied Sciences in Kazakhstan within the framework of modules or double degree programs, were discussed.
University President Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Jürgen Lehmann also welcomed the international guest.
