Health day: How are exercise and mental health connected in everyday life?

Dr Katja Bühlmeyer will be a guest at Hof University's Health Day on 28 February 2024. On this day, all members of the university will have the opportunity to try out various sports programmes on the Hof campus and learn more about health and nutrition. Hof University of Applied Sciences recognizes foreign nursing staff in Hof

Hof University of Applied Sciences will be the first university in Germany to conduct knowledge examinations and adaptation courses for foreign nursing staff as part of a Master's degree program. According to the Bavarian State Office for Nursing, the institution will receive official certification for such services and can therefore implement recognition for foreign nursing professionals itself. “Trekkies” and many more: First New Year’s Lecture with great attendance

A successful premiere: for the very first time since it was founded, Hof University of Applied Sciences organised a New Year's lecture that was open to everyone. 250 guests ensured that even the university's "Audimax" could no longer cope with the crowds and the lecture had to be transferred to another room at short notice. University supports funding for new supercomputer at NHR@FAU

The Center for National High Performance Computing at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (NHR@FAU) placed an order for the installation of two new supercomputers in December last year. With the new high-tech equipment, the NHR site in northern Bavaria continues to grow. The systems are being financed by funds from the National Supercomputing Program as well as FAU, the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts, the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and Hof University of Applied Sciences.
