After last year's award for Friederike Oehler for her work in the "Digital Storytelling" seminar, professors Norbert Diedrich, Claudia Muth and Michael Zöllner are delighted to announce that this year the university has four winners of the Annual Multimedia Digital Talents Award 2025. Out of a total of 17 award-winning student projects, four prizes went to Hof University of Applied Sciences - a great success for the Bachelor's degree course in Communication Design (KD) at the Münchberg campus. The university welcomed a total of 32 girls and 9 boys from grades 5-10 to its Hof, Kronach and Münchberg campuses as part of this year's Girls' and Boys' Day. The nationwide day of action on April 25 offers pupils the opportunity to get a taste of careers and promotes career guidance based on interests and talents rather than gender stereotypes. [more]

Hof University of Applied Sciences and the Bangladesh University of Textiles (BUTEX) have been working closely together for six years now. Since the end of 2021, the two educational institutions have been linked by the so-called HELD project of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). The two universities have now signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Friday, April 19. [more]
