Electrical and janitorial work or maintenance of green spaces - since 1998, and thus for 25 years, Werner Teltscher has been helping to ensure that the buildings and the Hof campus are always in perfect condition for students, faculty and staff. With about 8000 different rare diseases and about 4 million people affected in Germany, the findings of science are more difficult to access. The project SelEe - Rare Diseases - aims to remedy this situation and increase the visibility for these diseases. An app has just been created (Android and iOS) and is intended to bring together a wide variety of data. [more]

A real student café is to be opened for the first time directly on Hof's Karolinenstraße in the fall. The Kulturdrang e.V. association founded at Hof University of Applied Sciences has now launched a crowdfunding campaign for this purpose in cooperation with VR Bank Bayreuth-Hof and is hoping for as much support as possible. The goal is to create a lively meeting place in the heart of the city for all students, pupils and the young at heart. [more]
